Mark is the publisher and owner of TheHomeMag Jacksonville and TheHomeMag Daytona. Originally a restauranteur from Cape Elizabeth Maine, he ventured south to seek new challenges. In 2006, Mark and his wife Janice relocated to St. Augustine from Cape Coral Florida to start TheHomeMag.
Armed with a desire to help local businesses grow and reach their full potential they relentlessly focused on connecting local home improvement businesses with the area’s best homeowners.
Getting optimal results for their clients while providing homeowners with the area’s best services has proven to be very successful.
15 years later Mark says “We feel blessed that we were given this opportunity. Being able to help so many people along the way has been extremely rewarding and the key relationships that we have developed are priceless.”
Janice Matrazzo | Publisher
Janice started her TheHomeMag journey in 2006. She and her husband Mark moved from SW Florida to open the Jacksonville and St Augustine franchise. In 2018 they opened the Daytona magazine.
Having a background as a nurse in her Canadian birthplace, Janice has always been in a helping field. She feels fortunate to have been able to use those attributes to help local businesses grow, and help homeowners improve their homes ever since.
John Vaccaro | Regional Sales Manager
John is the Regional Sales Manager and came to us 3 years ago to help lead the publication in Jacksonville, St Augustine, Daytona, and Palm Coast.

John comes from a background with more than 13 years marketing and advertising experience including Radio, TV, Print, Events,Community Involvement, Online, Search, and more. A father of two girls and a husband, John is a passionate car enthusiast that loves a rush and traveling.
Cheryl Bethune | Administrative Support
Cheryl, moved to Florida from Atlanta, GA in 2006 and has 20+ years experience in customer service and administrative/clerical work. She started her career at TheHomeMag in 2008 as the Office Manager. Her key roles include administrative duties and customer relations. She is the liaison between our clients and the design and sales team. Additionally, Cheryl manages the day to day operations, accounting, layout and customer service.
In her 12 years with THM, Cheryl has built strong relationships with our clients and has been managing and maintaining house accounts for several years. Cheryl's knowledge in all areas of operations and ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the day makes her a great point of contact to help make the process as easy as possible and is always available to help in anyway.
Nick Figueredo | Account Executive
Nick joined TheHomeMag team in October 2021 as an Account Executive. In his role with TheHomeMag, Nick helps clients grow their business, re-engage past customers and keep their name top of mind.
In his time with TheHomeMag, Nick has helped dozens of businesses reach new customers and hit new milestones.
Prior to coming to TheHomeMag, Nick spent nearly 13 years programming radio stations in several major Florida markets. He’s helped launch several radio stations and nationally syndicated talk shows as well as planned/executed coverage of some of the biggest news stories of the last decade.
Ryan Yale | Graphic Designer
Our most recent addition, Ryan, joined TheHomeMag Team in September 2022. His passion for art started at an early age, and soon this recreational activity blossomed into a creative interest in artistic interpretations and depictions. Ryan’s primary focus lies in graphic design, where he employs his passion for typography, kerning, and high resolution. He completed his initial training at the renowned Interlochen Arts Academy and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City in 2020. He is the recipient of several awards, including the National Young Artist Award presented by the Young Artist Foundation. Ryan is up-to-date on the latest design trends and loves to hear, “it’s time for something fresh”.
